The Night Before Christmas
2 December 2021 @ 7:30 pm - 4 December 2021 @ 7:30 pm
£8.00Panto is back, Oh yes it is.
Following on from a successful debut pantomime back in 2019, the Alyth Musical Society are hard at work on rehearsals for their second pantomime. Set to run in December this year. In 2019 we saw Jock climb a beanstalk, meet all kinds of interesting characters and set out on his voyage of self discovery and bravery. This proved to be so successful that the cast are going for it again.
Rehearsing under very different circumstances.
Rehearsing under very different conditions and with the uncertainty of a performance going ahead, the cast of the Alyth Musical Society welcomed faces old and new for the production of “The Night Before Christmas”. Running from Thursday 2nd to Saturday 4th December at Alyth Town Hall.
Described as a traditional Pantomime with a few modern twists this production offers fun for all the family.
So what’s Going on?
Without giving too much away the story starts on Christmas Eve and Rudolph is missing. Without him Santa can’t navigate around the world to make his deliveries in time to all the children. Now it’s up to two intrepid agents from the National Elf Service to travel to the human world and track down Rudolph, hopefully just in time to save Christmas yeay!!. However, a panto wouldn’t be as fun without the dark forces that are at work in the form of The Anti-Claus and her evil henchmen Humbug and Bah!
Will our heroes, assisted by an extensive entourage of pixies, schoolgirls and reindeer succeed before the clock strikes midnight? Lets not a helping hand from Dame Holly Berry,
You’ll have to come along and find out. (Oh yes you will.) Tickets will be available soon from either ticket source, or you can get them direct at Food for Thought.
Tickets Start from £8.00 with a 4 person Family Ticket available for £30.
